Chatham Natives Earn FDU Honors

Dean's List, Honor's List come out with Chatham names on the rolls.

Several Chatham residents were named to Fairleigh Dickinson University at Florham's Honor's List for the 2012 spring semester. To be named to the Honor's List, students must be enrolled in a minimum of four classes and earn a 3.5 grade point average (GPA) or higher out of a possible 4.0.

The Chatham natives named to Fairleigh Dickinson's Honor's List for the 2012 spring semester are:

  • Matthew Holland
  • Ryan Reck
  • Khrystyna Romanyshyn

Several other Chatham natives were also named to the university's Dean's List, which requires a GPA of 3.2 or higher out of four courses. Those students are:

  • Tara Burroughs
  • Alexandra Nestler
  • Nicole Schmidt
  • Nicholas Sharif
  • Alexander Tess
  • Kimberly Wantz

Reck, Romanyshyn and Sharif were also named to the university's 2011 fall semester Honor's List. Holland, Tess and Wantz were named to the 2011 fall semester Dean's List.

Romanyshyn was inducted into the university's Phi Omega Epsilon senior honor society earlier this year in recognition of her academic accomplishments. To qualify for the society, students must have completed 90 credits toward an undergraduate degree, including at least 58 at the campus. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2 is required for induction.

Romanyshyn also received the Excellence in Cell and Molecular Biology Award for the class of 2012 this spring. The award was presented by Dr. Alice Shumate.

FDU's College at Florham is located on the former Vanderbilt-Twombly estate.
