Chatham Grads Make the Grade

Take a look at these students who made the Dean's List at their respective universities in the fall term.

Chatham residents at the University of Delaware made the Dean's List or other honors in the fall 2011 semester:

  • Kerry Criss, a senior Arts and Sciences major.
  • Kathryn Maurer, a senior Business and Economics major.
  • Daniel Orefice, a junior Business and Economics major.
  • Kimberly Teschemacher, a freshman Arts and Sciences major.

At Wake Forest University, these Chatham graduates were among over 1,800 students who made the Dean's List in fall 2011:

These students at the University of Scranton maintained a grade point average (GPA) of 3.5 or higher with a minimum number of credit hours to make the Dean's List in fall 2011:

  • Katherine DeFries is a senior philosophy major in Scranton's College of Arts and Sciences
  • Michael Wallace is a senior communication major in Scranton's College of Arts and Sciences
  • Lori Travers is a freshman early and primary teacher education major in Scranton's Panuska College of Professional Studies
  • Caroline Conners is a senior community health education major in Scranton's Panuska College of Professional Studies
  • Jennifer Spinner is a sophomore early and primary teacher education major in Scranton's Panuska College of Professional Studies
  • Lindsay Spinner is a sophomore early and primary teacher education major in Scranton's Panuska College of Professional Studies

Two Chatham residents currently enrolled at Connecticut College achieved Dean's High Honors with a grade point average (GPA) of at least 3.78 in the fall 2011 semester:

  • Margaret Nelson, class of 2015

Seven Chatham residents enrolled at The College of New Jersey made the Dean's List in fall 2011, which requires students to carry 12 or more credits with a GPA of 3.5 or higher. The students include:

  • Chelsea Siegel
  • Andrea Baez
  • Holly Hundermark
  • Aaron Harmaty
  • Claire Huynh
  • Christine Barna
  • Michael Wang

 

Out of 522 students who made the Dean's List at Mount St. Mary's University, two are Chatham residents

  • Claire Higgins, a sophomore and the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Kevin Higgins
  • Anne Walters, a sophomore and the daughter of Ms. Martha Jane Walters

Two Chatham residents at the University of New Hampshire earned Honors on the Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester:

  • Douglas Cataldo
  • Andrew Mudgett

James Salierno of Chatham made the Dean's Commendation List at Gettysburg College in the fall of 2011, with a GPA of 3.33 or higher.

Christopher James Dart made the President's List with a 4.0 GPA at Clemson University for the fall 2011 semester. Dart majors in communications studies.

 

Doug Caggiano was named to the Dean's List at Quinnipiac University with a GPA of 3.5 and no grade lower than a C.

Matthew Reilly of Providence College's class of 2013 made the fall semester Dean's List with a GPA of at least 3.55 and at least 12 credits.

Andrew Stasiukevicius, who us pursuing a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental engineering at Marquette University, was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2011 semester.

At the State University of New York at New Paltz, Chelsea Allocco made the Dean's List in the fall 2011 semester with a GPA of at least 3.3. Allocco majors in computer science.

Stephen Leonard, a member of the class of 2014 at Stonehill College, made the fall 2011 Dean's List with a GPA of at least 3.5.

At Clemson University, Katherine Stewart Hoffman was named to the Dean's List with a GPA between a 3.5 and 3.99. Hoffman's major is in elementary education.

Mary Malloy of Caldwell College was among 343 sstudents named to the fall 2011 Dean's List with a GPA of at least 3.5.
