Colony Pool & Tennis Club hosted their first Beach Bash, an adult social for pool members, on July 27. Kathy Abbott, the Chatham Township Committee liaison to the Pool Advisory Committee, said the bash was a great success with perfect weather and a crowd of 90.
"We were delighted to see such a nice size crowd of diverse ages," Abbott said.
The Beach Bash is one of several new amenities and events the Pool Advisory Committee has established this year in order to increase pool membership. Other new features of the pool include the planting of three palm trees, a family movie light and Lego robotics for children.
