620 Coats Donated So Far at Madison Drop-Off Point

Still time to bring coats to Madison Area YMCA to help people keep warm in New Jersey's freezing weather.

Madison High School students last weekend sorted 620 coats that were dropped off in a donation bin at the Madison Area YMCA.

They sorted the sorted men's, women's and children's coats and delivered them to a Jersey Cares distribution site, where agencies with requests for coats can pick them up.

Community members donated the coats as part of the ongoing 18th Jersey Cares Coat Drive, which runs until Feb. 1.
