Turkey Trot Raises More Than $14K

435 runners raised money for the Diabetes Research Institute and the Chatham Township Volunteer Fire Department.

Curt Ritter, president of the Chatham Turkey Trot, said 435 runners participated in this year's Turkey Trot and raised $14,300 in charity funds.

"This was by far our most successful race ever," Ritter said, adding these numbers are far greater than the participation and donations in 2011. .

Money raised will be donated to the Chatham Township Fire Department and the Diabetes Research Institute.

  • 1 Mile Family Fun Run Girl’s Winner – Mollie Ritter
  • 5K Boy’s Winner – Owen Reddington – 21:41
  • 5K Women’s Winner - Angelica Burns – 21:41
  • 5K Men’s Winner – John Hendy – 18:53
  • 5K Girl’s Winner – Kayleigh Wolff – 23:22
  • 1 Mile Family Fun Run Boy’s Winner – Tommy Hyland
