The 1 iPad Classroom

Through the generosity of an alumni parent, Chatham Day School has an inspiring new addition to each of its six kindergarten, first, and second grade classrooms -- iPads.  The faculty and staff are piloting the integration of the "One iPad Classrom" to assess the educational benefits this technology offers. After only one week, teachers claim that the "One iPad Classrom" is inspiring creativity, boosting learning, engaging participation, and stretching everyone's mind. And, isn't that what education is meant to do?  As a resource, CDS teachers are using the Grant Wood Area Education Agency web page, which promotes the developmental learning opportunities that come from a single iPad classroom. Click on the link below to learn more about the integration of iPads to early childhood classrooms. https://sites.google.com/a/gwaea.org/gwaea-ipad-pd/workshops/the-1-ipad-classroom
