Southern Boulevard School Holiday Giving Fair

At the first annual Holiday Giving Fair this past week, students at Southern Boulevard School (SBS) proudly donned their “SBS Cares” wristbands and stickers after making a difference for some great causes. The children participated in class lessons around philanthropy and then had the opportunity to make monetary donations to a diverse group of local nonprofit agencies.

SBS principal Mr. Ralph Pesapane remarked, “This holiday season our kids have learned the power of giving and helping out others.” By directly distributing their contributions to the organization(s) of their choice, students not only had fun, but also felt the impact of their generosity.

Together, SBS families donated more than $4500 to benefit ECLC of NJ, The Great Swamp, Interfaith Food Pantry, and Toys for Tots (Dover branch).
