Rainbow Montessori School of Madison Freezes Tuition Increase

Rainbow Montessori School Freezes Tuition Increase

In light of the current economy, Rainbow Montessori School will not be increasing their tuition for the next School Year, 2014-2015. “We recognize that many families are struggling to keep up with their bills related to daily living, such as mortgage or rent payments, car expenses, food and medical costs, and the expenses directly related to raising children. In some families, the main breadwinner is losing his/her job. The economy continues to remain sluggish and it affects everyone”, said Rainbow Director Pam Petrillo.  “Preschool education is no longer a luxury – attending preschool gives children the edge that they need to succeed in elementary school and beyond. When parents struggle to pay preschool tuition, on top of all of their other living expenses, it adds stress to the family and sometimes requires parents to sacrifice some of the benefits to the child by choosing less days per week or by settling on a school of second or third choice. We don’t want parents to have to make those kinds of choices”, stated Mrs. Petrillo. For parents whose budgets just don’t allow for preschool tuition, Rainbow partners with Preschool Advantage, a non-profit organization providing full scholarships to deserving families with preschool children.

Rainbow Montessori School has a rich history in the town of Madison, and will celebrate its 33rd year of service to the community in June, 2014. The school values the arts that are so engrained in the Town of Madison, and focuses on exposing children to art history, the performing arts, and art as a medium for self-discovery and self growth.
