Power Block Stop Asteroid at Fishawack Festival

As part of the Chatham STEM Lego Robotics initiative, four 3rd grade girls from the Milton Avenue School presented their solution for a natural disaster at the Fishawack Festival on Saturday, June 14th. The natural disaster their team - called POWER BLOCK - chose to solve was to stop an asteroid from hitting Earth. This was the first time they participated in a project of this nature and were quite successful as a team.  The team was led by parent coaches Minati OConnell and Marylin Salinger and young mentors Emily Wang and Dylan Salinger.Whether the team will move to the Junior League, has yet to be seen.  The ChathamSTEM Lego Robotics initiative is a great way get your child involved in a team and to learn about the world of Lego and Robotics.
