Madison Branch of AAUW offering Mature Women Educational Support

The Madison Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) is now accepting applications for its Mature Women’s Grant.  We are proud of our more than eighty years’ heritage of supporting women who wish to further their education.  Each year the Branch awards several scholarships to local women.  We offer this opportunity to women 25 years of age and older, who are enrolled in an educational program pursuing certificate, undergraduate or graduate degrees, and who reside in Chatham, Chatham Township, Florham Park, Madison or Morristown to apply for this grant.  Eligibility and submission requirements, including deadline for application are fully described on the application itself.

To learn more about the grant program and to download an application, visit our website at https://gov.rosenet.org/nonprofits/aauw-madison or send email questions to aauwgrant@hotmail.com.   Applications are available from the financial aid offices at Drew and Fairleigh Dickinson Universities, as well as at the College of St. Elizabeth in Convent Station and County College of Morris.  The applications are also available at the reference desks of the libraries in Chatham, Florham Park, Madison and Morristown.

Completed applications must be received by the Grant Committee on or before April 4th, 2014.  Decisions of the Grant Committee will be communicated to each applicant.
