Fire Hydrants - Pls. Shovel Snow & remind your Plows not to cover

Have you notice Fire Hydrants in front of your home buried in snow and ice. For some it is right in front of their homes.  Next time you see it, stop and think. Your family and neighbors life may depend on that being available. Pls. remind your Plow Drivers not to plow them in, while out side with your snow blowers and shovels take the 2 minutes and clear the hydrant. We need to get hoses straight lines to all connections. I trust most folks never realize that the towns and local fire departments simply do not have the resource to do this...I also trust Plow Driver often do not see at night and during storms.  Remember in an emergency such as a fire every second counts....Pls. help us help you.  thanks
