Dr. Howie Visits The Work-Family Connection At The Milton Avenue School!

Voted as one of New Jersey’s top pediatric dentists, Chatham’s own Dr. Howard C. Kotkin, known to his patients as “Dr. Howie”, visited the children at the Work-Family Connection program at Milton Avenue School on Tuesday, March 4th. In humorous fashion, Dr. Howie brought his puppets to educate the children on healthy eating and oral health care.

A local favorite, Dr. Howie asked the children health questions and answered questions that they had for him. At the end of his visit, the children each received a “Dr. Howie’s goody bag” filled with dental floss, toothpaste, a toothbrush and stickers.

The Work-Family Connection, now celebrating their 25th anniversary, opened in 1989 and its programs are licensed and nationally accredited with qualified, nurturing staff. Programs are educational and recreational in nature, providing extended learning opportunities while the students are having FUN! For more information, please call 908-534-5935 or visit
