Chatham Day School Enhances Middle School Classrooms

The return to school in September is a whirlwind of excitement for students, parents, and teachers alike. CDS Middle School students were treated to a few extra surprises when returning for their first day this past week.

Along with new technology and a vibrant school website, they delightfully find that one of the main campus structures, the CDS Estate House, is now the middle school humanities building. Spanish, English, and history classes purposefully intertwine in a beautiful and sophisticated stone building.  A new Commons Room is a perfect gathering place for students and faculty to exchange ideas.

Eighth grade student, Luis Reis, commented, “I had high expectations coming back this year, and all of those expectations have been exceeded.
