Chatham B.S. Troop 121 Visits West Point

From November 8 – 10, Chatham Township B.S. Troop 121 visited U.S. Military Academy West Point, in West Point, NY. Camping nearby at Lake Frederick, the scouts honed their camping & outdoor skills in 28 degree weather. On Saturday, November 9th, the Troop’s visit to West Point included a cadet-led walking tour with views to barracks, the mess hall and parade field. The Troop observed the “Review Parade” where cadets march onto the parade field in ‘dress’ uniform for inspection.

The visit culminated with an Army football game versus West Kentucky. Army lost 17 – 20.
