Chatham B.S. Troop 121 Hikes Storm King Mountain & Visits the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome

On September 28, Chatham Boy Scout Troop 121 hiked the scenic Storm King Mountain along the west bank of the Hudson River, south of Cornwall-on-Hudson, NY.  Together with Breakneck Ridge, it is a picturesque northern gateway to the Hudson Highlands, its summit reaching approximately 1,340 ft (410m) above sea level.

Later that day, the Troop visited the Old Rhinebeck Aerodrome and viewed a thrilling airshow.

Troop 121 meets every Monday at 7:30pm at the Presbyterian Church of Chatham Township located at 240 Southern Blvd. For more information, please contact Scoutmaster Steve Gesell at: s.gesell@comcast.net
