Township to Appoint Community Garden Committee Members

Chatham Township's governing body is scheduled to meet at 7:30 p.m. Thursday in the municipal building, 58 Meyersville Road. Resolutions involving the relocation of the community garden to Woodland Park and appointing members to the Community Garden Committee are among the items on the agenda.

Woodland Park is jointly owned by both Chatham Borough and Chatham Township. Both governing bodies have agreed to the project. PSE&G revoked a lease for the since-closed Chatham Borough Community Garden, citing safety concerns related to the installation of new poles and power lines.
