Chatham Author to Talk at Library

Board of Education meets.

Chatham author Dan Perkins is scheduled to discuss his first thriller, "The Brotherhood of the Red Nile," 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Library of the Chathams, 214 Main Street.

The audience will have the opportunity to ask questions about his writing career and the subject matter for his books, according to an announcement for the event.

Perkins manages money full time and writes in the evening and on weekends on Sanibel Island, Fla., and in Chatham, according to an author bio.

"The Brotherhood of the Red Nile" is a fictional account of a terrorist group that works with a country's nuclear program on a plan to attack the U.S.

Last week, Perkins discussed his novel at the Senior Center of the Chathams.
