On Wednesday, September 5, all New Jersey residents are invited to attend the Alzheimer’s Association, Greater New Jersey Chapter’s regional town hall at The Senior Center of the Chathams, 58 Meyersville Road, Chatham, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. to discuss the implementation of the nation’s first National Alzheimer’s Plan. Attendees will have the opportunity to ask Congress to support the Plan with an additional $100 million for three key areas - Alzheimer’s research, education, outreach and community support, and also share their thoughts on how to best move from Plan to action. Congressman Rodney P. Frelinghuysen will appear at 5:30 to make remarks and listen to input. Call 973.586.4300 to register for the town hall.

More About Senior Center of the Chathams
The senior center was created in 1990 and is located in the lower level of the township's municipal building.
It relies on donations, and credits the donations from various community members for allowing it to provide the programs it does. It offers health services, transportation and educational services to seniors in the community.
It hosts adult education classes, fitness programs, card games and arts and leisure outings.
