Owners Donna and Bob Funk–along with the help of many customers–have donated and shipped over 1,000 pounds of coffee to the troops and "will continue doing so until the last soldier comes home," said the Funks. It …

In a town like Chatham, it’s hard to imagine sending your child to school without shoes. However, Joan Melroy, a Chatham resident and professional organizer, knows that bare feet are sometimes the only thing standing in the way of a child’s education in developing countries. Melroy’s company, The Organized Advantage, LLC, is part of the northern New Jersey chapter of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO-NNJ). NAPO representatives and Melroy met with the Tennessee-based charity Soles4Soles at a conference in April, and decided to help them reach their “11 in 11” goal of …
If you go to the Chatham Borough Farmers Market this weekend, you'll notice a new addition to the vendors. Unionville Vineyards of Ringoes, NJ will offer samples and sell bottles of their award-winning artisanal wines at their inaugural appearance at the market. Jennifer Tanner, the director of Sales and Marketing, said that the vineyard was originally a peach farm. They planted their first vines in 1982 and began winemaking in the late 1980s. Most people think of tomatoes, corn and farm stands when considering the Garden State. Wineries, however, are on the rise thanks to New Jersey's …

When not playing for Chatham Brass, which performed 44 times last year, Rummel also plays for the Metropolitan Orchestra of New Jersey, the Summit Symphony and the Westfield Community band. Both Chatham…

The parade route begins at the intersection of Main Street and Hillside Avenue, travels west down Main Street and ends at Chatham Middle School. “More than 50 groups are marching in the parade this year,” said Lt.
