Dear Editor,One of the reasons we all love living in Chatham is the sense of community and the camaraderie of neighbor helping neighbor. This coming Saturday brings us another opportunity to work together for a greater cause. The Chatham High Cougar Baseball and Softball teams are hosting a small tournament in hopes of raising funds and awareness for Breast Cancer. This is the second annual Chatham Invitational Tournament and hopes are that it grows each year. Saturday, April 14 at 1 p.m. is the first game. To the Chatham Township Committee: I continue to be opposed to the creation of a conditional use ordinance which would permit a commercial farm business to operate in residential neighborhoods. By passing a conditional use ordinance as the township committee has chosen to do, this potential use had not being held to the same standard and scrutiny as any other development or non-conforming use.
