VIDEO: Councilman Delivers Meals on Wheels
Vicki Fife and other council members were invited to participate in Sage Eldercare's meal delivery program.
Councilman Vicki Fife and her husband Peter took some time recently to volunteer with Sage Eldercare in Summit delivering Meals on Wheels.
Marianne Kranz, Sage's director of Meals on Wheels Volunteers and Home Support Services, assigned the Fifes to the borough of New Providence, which has nine participants in the program.
The day included a tour of Sage's facilities on Broad Street in Summit, which include nurse's facilities, group activities and a furniture refurbishment warehouse, which helps to support Sage's programs.
