Chatham Township districts showed turnout that more than doubled turn-out in Chatham Borough as Tuesday progressed.
In District 10, the township's largest district, 87 Republicans and 13 Democrats voted before 2 p.m.
District 7, where Chatham Township Committee candidate Laura Ali Nonnenmacher lives, had 117 voters by the time Nonnenmacher came to vote at about 3:30 p.m.
Kevin Sullivan, the second candidate for township committee, plans to vote later in the day.
Districts 8 and 9, which vote at the River Road Firehouse, had 113 and 79 voters by 4 p.m., respectively. Fifteen Democrats voted in District 8, and eight in District 9.
Township Clerk Greg LaConte said he "made the rounds" to the township's 10 polling places at about 10:30 a.m.
