Summit Police: Child Reports Being Followed to School
The suspicious incident occurred this morning as a group of students were on their way to school.
A group of children were reportedly followed on their way to Brayton Elementary school in Summit this morning, according to police.
A female student told authorities that a suspicious vehicle was trailing her and a group of friends.
There have been a string of child luring and abduction attempts reported recently in Northern New Jersey.
A state police emergency alert went out today around 10:39a.m. that read:
Brayton School child reports that on todays date she and a group of friends were followed by a suspicious vehicle.
