Resident: Sullivan 'Demonstrates Integrity'

Township man urges residents to vote for Kevin Sullivan at the primary election.

To the editor:

On June 5, 2012, Republican voters in Chatham Township will vote to select our party’s nominee for the open seat on the Chatham Township Committee formerly held by Kevin Tubbs. We should strongly support Kevin Sullivan, who will uphold Chatham Township’s record of fiscal discipline and responsiveness to our residents.

Kevin already serves our community on the Township’s Planning Board and has coached a variety of sports for Chatham Recreation.  Kevin is an active member of St. Patrick Parish, where he is a member of the Knights of Columbus, a founder and director of the St. Pat’s Community 5K Race that is popular with the entire community of The Chathams, and a member of the Athletic Board of St. Patrick School.

Kevin has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, so he understands well the need for us to live within our means and avoid excess costs within our budget, which would unfairly burden not only current property owners but our children and grandchildren in the future.

As a former Captain in the US Marine Corps, Kevin demonstrates the integrity, leadership, dependability, teamwork and quiet confidence that will enable him to succeed in this important role.

Kevin is running because he shares our belief that Chatham Township will continue to remain a model community if good, qualified men and women choose to contribute their time and talent to effective government. We are proud to call Kevin our friend; please join us in voting for Kevin on June 5.
