Where's the Best Place to Celebrate St. Patrick's Day?
Where is the best spot in Madison and Chatham?
What area bars get your vote for celebrating St. Patrick's Day?
This week, our Readers' Choice column asks the residents of Madison and Chatham to tell us which local bar makes feel like kicking your heels on March 17:
- 54 Main Street Bar and Grille
- Charley's Aunt
- Charlie Brown's Steakehouse
- Poor Herbie's
- Prospect Tavern
- The River Grille
What do you like about your favorite local watering hole? Is it the staff, the beverage menu, the atmosphere?
Tell us in the comments what makes it so special and be sure to write a review on the business's listing.
Voting in the poll below is open until Friday at 9 a.m. We will announce the winner Friday at noon.
Editor's note: Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results, comments and ratings and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch.

River Grille! Great people, food, and fun! Chef Eric Moody does an excellent job in the kitchen. Nice outdoor dining option, and a real local feel to the joint with numerous regulars.
