Power Restored to Chatham Glen Condos

Some buildings still out, but the lines feeding into the condos are energized, mayor says.

Chatham Township Mayor Nicole Hagner said power lines going into the Chatham Glen condominium complex were energized Thursday afternoon.

Several buildings within the complex remained without power due to repairs still outstanding, Hagner said, but all power lines within the complex were live.

"JCP*L has a list of the buildings without power," Hagner said, and will continue to work on getting the power restored fully to the condos.

Hagner asked residents to check with neighbors to see if power was restored.

Over 30 utility poles were damaged in the corridor along Southern Boulevard and River Road, which feed power into the condos along River Road.

Jay Road also had its power restored Thursday.

I had previously posted that while power was back in Rolling Hill area there were homes with lines down that were still out. I got a response that this would be the homeowners responsibility. Despite that statement crews worked overnight to repair the lines in my immediate neighborhood these included those disconnected from homes and from poles
