Poll: What Should Go in the Old Drug Fair Spot?
With a new liquor license likely on its way, attention turns to the empty Drug Fair.
When the Chatham Township Committee decided to draft an amendment to the liquor license ordinance creating a third consumption license, Committee Member Bailey Brower Jr. specifically mentioned the empty storefront where Drug Fair used to be.
A liquor license, Brower said, would be a "tremendously attractive incentive" for a business to move into one of the area's empty storefronts, including the Drug Fair building.
What do you think should go in the Drug Fair building? Something small and trendy such as a frozen yogurt shop, or a restaurant-bar such as Charley's Aunt in Chatham Borough or 54 Main in Madison? Or if you want something completely different, tell us in the comments!

I would love to see The Turning Point restaurant. The closest one is in Westfield and parking is difficult there.

How about a nice Sport Bar / restaurant similar to Delicious Heights? I am tired of driving one or two towns away to spend money in a nice restaurant and run into a bunch of Chatham neighbors and friends. The extra money from this fine establishment could be used to hire more teachers and reduce our classroom sizes. It's a win-win. In sum, I drink in town, drive less, have fun with other Chatham folks and my kids and their classmates get smarter!!!!!

A Gamestop or a more-accessible Cinema. I'm tired of having to go to Summit or Madison to get my games/movies. If either of the two were to take the Old Drug Fair's store space, then many many people from Chatham would surely stop there.
