Police Arrest Twp. Man on Outstanding Warrant

The following information was obtained directly from the Chatham Township Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Kenneth Finnen, 44, of Chatham Township was arrested Monday for an equipment violation and outstanding warrants from Madison and Chatham.

Patrolman Michael Sawyer stopped a vehicle on Pine Street for an equipment violation, according to police.

A subsequent check determined that the driver, Finnen, had a suspended license and warrants for his arrest, police said.

Finnen was placed under arrest, transported to police headquarters and later released after posting bail in the amount of $1,000, according to police.

The warrants, one each from Chatham and Madison, were issued after Finnen failed to appear in court to answer prior charges for driving with a suspended license, police said.

Finnen is scheduled to appear in municipal court on Jan. 24.
