The Visiting Nurse Associations of America awarded one of their two scholarships to Chatham native Adriana Shubeck.

Shubeck is a graduate of Villa Walsh Academy's class of 2012 and a member of the Chatham Emergency Squad. She currently attends Villanova University's College of Nursing.

Shubeck won the scholarship based on grades, letters of recommendation and an essay she wrote on why she wants to go into nursing. The essay is attached to this article.
