The Chatham Borough Farmers Market brings fresh produce and home-made goods to shoppers each week. This week, the Mayors Wellness Campaign booth hosts Michele Levine a nutritional pharmacist from Liberty Drug & Surgical.
The Mayors Wellness Campaign is a state-wide initiative to help get New Jersey residents healthy and keep them that way. According to the website, 57 percent of New Jersians are overweight or obese. In Chatham, the campaign is sponsored by Saint Barnabas Hospital in Livingston.
The Chatham Borough Farmers Market is open Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the parking lot at the Chatham NJ Transit Train Station.
