For Ladies, a Wonderful Night Out

Businesses in downtown Chatham offered discounts and stayed open late for the event.

Women gathered in the shops and restaurants of downtown Chatham on Thursday night, ready to take advantage of special deals, extended hours and the occasional free glass of wine.

The fanfare was all part of Ladies' Night Out, an event coordinated by Bliss Clothing and Accessories owner LoriAnn Medico that was intended to bring people downtown. Participating restaurants and shops, which had pink and white balloons tied to their storefronts, offered discounts and stayed open late.

A video documenting the event is below.
