Elizabeth Virginia Salvas, daughter of Thomas and Sandra Salvas of Chatham Township, and Bryan J. McGookin, son of Carol McGookin and the late William J. McGookin, II of Chatham Township, were married Friday, August 6, 2010 at The Madison Hotel Conservatory in Morris Township by the Rev. Lisa Bansavage.

A reception was held at The Madison Hotel Conservatory following the ceremony.

The maids of honor were Nicole Caprio and Caitlin Christian. The bridesmaids were Vanessa Templeton, Chrissy Leslie and Kelly Steele Aldrich.

The best men were Shaun McGookin and Brent Herud. The groomsmen were Danny McGookin, Thurston Brask, and Mitch Duggins.

The bride is a 2002 graduate of Chatham High School and a 2006 graduate of Ithaca College with a B.S. in Television-Radio, magna cum laude. She is a Marketing Coordinator at Accordant Company, LLC in Whippany.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Chatham High School and a 2008 graduate of Northeastern University with a B.S. in Business Administration, summa cum laude. He is an Operations Project Analyst at Bank of America Merrill Lynch in Jersey City.

Following a wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple resides in Chatham Township.
