Right at Home team walks for The Alzheimer's Association's "Longest Day"
Right at Home, Home Care has formed a team to raise money for the Alzheimer's Association's "The Longest Day" challenge. The Chatham NJ team has raised $1,500 for the cause. "I see the way Alzheimer's Disease challenges families and individuals every day." Major says, "I think this is a great cause and our community members should participate! So many of my friends and colleagues have stepped up to show their support by giving in any way they can."
On June 20, 2012, the longest day of the year, participants across the northern hemisphere will push their limits in a sunrise-to-sunset relay to raise awareness and funds for the fight against Alzheimer’s. They will run, walk, bike, or challenge themselves in other ways. It’s one day to honor the passion, dedication and strength displayed by people with Alzheimer’s and their caregivers every day.
