Laura T. Leslie of White Township, formerly of Chatham Township, died on Jan. 26 at Warren Haven Nursing Home in Mansfield. She was 96. Born in Haddonfield, Leslie lived in Chatham Township for many years. She had a long career as a social studies teacher at the Chatham Middle School before her retirement. Leslie was a past matron, Delaware Chapter 50, Order of the Eastern Star; a past royal matron, Arbor Vitae Court 40, Order of the Amaranth; a past queen, Al Haram Temple 130, Daughters of the Nile; a past worthy high priestess, Areme Shrine 3, White Shrine; and a member of The Ladies Oriental Shrine of North America.
