More than 70 guests attended the Board of Trustees of Senior Services of the Chathams' Superbowl pre-party for donors on Sunday, Jan. 30.
According to a senior center press release, executive director Micki Chaput lauded previous board members Red Mulholland, Lucky Lyons, Ed Leithead, Don Haberstroh, Erma Colvin, Stan Carnes, and Terry Berry, as well as thanked those who have donoted to the senior center.
"We want to thank all our generous donors who have given to us faithfully over the years," said Chaput. "We celebrated our 20th anniversary last year and couldn't have done it without you. Last year we had more than 9,000 visits to the senior center, provided 1,000 rides for those that don't drive and answered more than 2,000 requests for information."
Senior Services of the Chathams began under the Interfaith Council of Churches as an outreach project, but is now an independent organization located in the Chatham Township municipal building.
