Chatham Middle School Top Fundraiser in Morris County
Chatham Middle School students raised $11,578 for the American Heart Association through their Jump Rope for Heart campaign. Students sought contributions from family and friends by participating in jump rope activities held during their physical education classes. To make this event extra special, the physical education teachers and school administrators agreed to be "pied" by students who raised the most money. Chatham Middle School has participated in this fun event for the past 10 years. For the 2009-2010 year, CMS was the top fund raising school in Morris County.
